Personal Exhibition at the Bourdelle Departmental Museum Garden

With the support of the museum curator, Valérie ARVALYS had the privilege of personally exhibiting more than 20 paintings at the Jardin Musée Bourdelle in Egreville throughout the summer of 2023.

Every Saturday she was able to comment on her work and have many exchanges with visitors.

Meet Valérie ARVALYS

Valérie ARVALYS was lulled by the scent of turpentine and acrylic. Creative from an early age, she was instinctively drawn to the works of her father and grandfather. She was interested in their classical painting technique for one and impressionist for the other. In 1999, she joined the MARYSE ELOY Art School in Beaubourg in Paris, where Maryse Eloy (Painter) and Tuan Pham Ngoc (Painter and Multidisciplinary Artist) were her teachers, giving her art history lessons. , drawings of live models, still life, graphics and packaging. Subsequently, she will frequent a group of painters for a few years with whom she will exhibit rue de Seine, then individually in different places in Paris, including the CNP Foundation. These different artistic experiences have nourished him and energized his creativity and his taste for color and aesthetics. Her heart went naturally to the "art deco" and "art nouveau" style that she particularly likes.
What touches Valérie ARVALYS are the finesse of the different works, the colors, the typical architecture, the work of the stained glass windows, the jewels, the wrought iron, the advertising posters and above all this reference to nature and animals. . Valérie ARVALYS likes to explore and experiment with different approaches and techniques, mixing genres and materials (acrylic, clay, wood, stone, resin, etc.) and working on different supports (reclaimed wood, canvas, etc.). She also works with wood and clay. A complete artist, Valérie Arvalys writes poetry and is a photography lover. Find the next exhibition dates in "Events".
